The East Millinocket Public Library provides East Millinocket and surrounding areas with many up-to-date fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, books-on-tape, videos, large print, and inter-library loans.  They also offer the use of their two computers, which one is Internet accessible.  Another service that is offered at income tax time is a full supply of various income tax forms for both State and Federal returns.   

Books and etc. may be signed out for a two weeks at a time and magazines up to one week.  There is a 5-cent fee per-day-per-book for any books that are returned overdue. 

Children’s programs are offered, which includes a Story Hour every other Thursday at 3:30 P.M.  Children meet to hear a story, do a craft & have a snack.  During the summer they can participate in the Summer Reading Program for ages preschool – grade 6. 

Community Health & Counseling Services - Telehealth Care Program offers a free blood pressure clinic once a month in the library.  Call for date and time. 

The library has a committee that serves as an advisory committee, which consists of three members: Laura Ferguson, Chairperson; Carrie Porter; Beverly MacLeod.  They meet once a month with the Head Librarian to discuss new ideas on how to better the facility and business in general.
