TOWN OF EAST MILLINOCKET

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TUESDAY, JUNE 9TH, 2015

4:30 P.M. 

A Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 9TH, 2015 at 4:30 P.M. at the East Millinocket Municipal Building, 53 Main St East Millinocket, Me for the purpose of considering:

 1.   An Ordinance to regulate the use of fireworks.

2.  An Ordinance to ban livestock from properties less than .50 acres.

3.  The removal of fluoride from the public water supply.

4.  The abolishment of the East Millinocket Budget Committee.

 All persons may appear to address any of the above-listed items.

East Millinocket means East of "many islands" in the language of

The town lies on the northern side of the West Branch of the Penobscot River, seventy miles north of Bangor. The town was incorporated on February 21,1907.
This rural Northern Maine community has a population of approximately 1860 people, rich in many different ethnic
backgrounds.  With an interesting history of being started around the business of papermaking to moving into the 21st century with many ideas of economic development, we welcome you.
