The Town of East Millinocket is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to evaluate, design, and repair structural and masonry deterioration associated with the front entrance stair and landing area of the East Millinocket Municipal Building located at 53 Main Street, East Millinocket, Maine.
The project generally includes evaluation of separation and movement between granite stair/landing components, concrete surfaces, and brick masonry walls, including identification of probable causes and recommended repair solutions.
Interested contractors shall provide:
• Description of the proposed repair approach
• Identification of any recommended engineering or structural review
• Proposed project schedule
• Lump-sum pricing or estimated cost range
• Relevant experience with masonry, structural, stair, or municipal building repairs
• Proof of insurance
Interested contractors are encouraged to conduct a site visit prior to submitting proposals.
The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, request additional information, and accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
